The DEWALT DWX725 Heavy Duty Work Stand has a compact design that allows easy transport and storage. It has a 1000-pound capacity (each) and handles the toughest jobs. Made from lightweight aluminum construction (15.4-pounds.) it allows for easy transport to and from the jobsite. The legs provide superior support and fold for easy storage and have Leg Lock Levers that allow for fast and easy set up. The Transport Latch allows a pair of stands to be easily transported together. Miter saw not included. Accepts optional DW7231 miter saw mounting brackets allowing use as a tool stand.

The other day when I was organizing the mess in the back of my work van, I was looking at my old beat up, folding metal sawhorse legs and decided I needed something better and easier to use. I then looked at at my DeWalt miter saw stand and thought "how cool would it be if they made a smaller version of this, that you could us for sawhorses". Later that night I actually went to the DeWalt site with the intention to email them with my brilliant idea, when I saw a link for new products. I could not believe it when up popped this this little stand. I immediately started shopping for a pair and found that Amazon was the cheapest with free shipping. These stands look just like the bigger version but somehow DeWalt made them much, much lighter. They are also very strong and easier to set up with the addition of the lever releases. There is also a shallow channel on top that you can set a piece of 2x4 or 1x4 in if you want wood on top. You can also use one of these when you need to just make a couple cuts with the saw and don't feel like dragging the big stand out.See all 1 customer reviews...
