I use it everyday while performing a/c punchouts. If you read the inverter owner's manual or do a quick Internet search you will see that use of an AC Dewalt (and some other cordless tool chargers) together with a modified sine wave inverter will dramatically shorten the life of your charger. Don't do it.As for this product, it works as advertised. Why only 3 stars? 2 reasons: A) At the current price this item really is overpriced for what you get; B)The (50% less costly) AC charger offers "Tune Up" mode, which extends battery life.
