Used it to build a very large wooden outdoor fort and swingset for my boys and loved it. Had no problem with using 1 1/8" spade bit to drill counterbores. Plenty of power.2 of 3 people found the following review helpful.Great Electric DrillBy B. AllenThis drill is a great drill. There are definetly cheaper drills out there, but if you want a variable speed drill from 0-1200 RPMs this is the drill for you. There is a lot of torque. The cord is heavy duty along with the chuck. The only thing I think could be improved on is the reverse switch. It can be easily bumped to reverse the drill direction and it is also small. That's a minor complaint for an outstanding drill.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful.Great drillBy S. J. TothI'm a new home-owner, and was in the market for a drill. I realize that cordless drills are significantly more convenient than corded, but that comes at a price, both monetary and performance. This drill is fantastic! It has a ridiculous amount of power, and feels great in the hand. The only negative I've experienced so far, is the keyed chuck. This can be alleviated by purchasing a click-change chuck add-on, such as: [...]To fully utilize the Bosch (or similar) click-change chucks, you need to buy hex shank bits. They're more costly than traditional, but for convenience it's worth it.See all 5 customer reviews...
