Other reviews make it stronger than it really is.By S13coupeAfter reading other people review the 12v seem like a good idea. Small, compact, lightweight, and supposedly enough torque to break lug nuts with ease. Well 1st attempt on my car seems good but i did not torque it to tight maybe 50 ft/lbs. My brother car (06 STI) I know for sure it was torque at 65 ft/lbs because I was there when the mechanic torque it. It loosen the lug nuts but the impact was struggling real bad. It took about four or five fully depressed until it loosen. One can argue that it might be seize but the wheel was put on only for one week.It is a good impact wrench for other lower torque rating bolts when working on the car. I regret not getting the 18v.
