It arrived charged and ready to go. The drill has a holder for one philips/blade driver, however, such a driver was not included (2 such drivers had been included with my last DeWalt drill). Contrary to the description, the drill does NOT include a 360 handle. The box for the drill is plastic rather than metal (although it is solidly built). I already had a Dewalt 18volt Hammer/Drill and needed a smaller 12v drill. I will mainly use this drill for putting together futniture and driving screws. It comes with 2 batteries and a charger. The chuck and switch (barrel) is all made of metal. It looks like it will outlast me.
