I have used it to cross-cut and rip hardwood. When ripping it leaves no saw marks on the wood and leaves a glue ready surface. Crosscuts are clean, no burning and very smooth. I have a number of Freud Industrial blades and this blade performs as well as the Freuds.I have also used it to cut melamine covered particle board and it causes no chipout whatsoever.
