The drill and circular saw was surprisingly powerful. I had to really tone down the torque settings because I initially screwed a 3 inch screw all the way through a 2x4 without effort. I have only used the circular saw for cutting plywood (for network backboards) but I am sure I could saw through just about anything like a warm knife in butter. The batteries in this 28v kit charge in 1 hour or less, that means by the time you run down the juice in one there is another freshly charged one waiting for you.1 of 2 people found the following review helpful.tool fell apart + Tool King won't honor manufacturer's return policyBy starbrightsteveTwo months ago I bought a 28 volt combo kit. There are three screws behind the chuck on the drill that are backing out and I can't tighten them. The service center can make the repair but then I have no drill for who knows how long. I called Tool King and they will only honor a return policy for 30 days. The Dewalt website lists a 90 day no questions asked return policy. I suspect that anyone that buys dewalt"s 28 or 36 volt hammer drill will eventually have this problem if they use the tool for more than screws.I suggest that the design is weak and I will not buy anything from Tool King from this point on. Dewalt tools may be good for screws but not for heavy duty drilling. I'm an insulation contractor and drill a lot of 2 9/16" holes with a self feed bit. I rarely use the hammer drill function.See all 2 customer reviews...
